BLACK MAN PULLED OVER BY POLICE FOR MAKING EYE CONTACT

Actually, the driver was pulled over for failing to signal a turn a full 100 feet before executing the turn, (he DID signal).  So, a more accurate heading might be: Black man followed by white cop for two miles for making eye contact.

While visiting his mother in Dayton OH, John Felton, a resident of Detroit MI, was first trailed and then pulled over by a Dayton police officer.  The officer, who is unidentified, (oh how I wish we could get his name and badge number) informs Felton that he was pulled over because he failed to signal his turn 100 feet before the stop sign.  In case you didn’t get that the first time, I will repeat it.  On the way to his mother’s home, Felton pulled to a stop sign.  Prior to making the turn, Felton signaled his intent to turn.  However, Felton didn’t signal a full 100 feet prior to the stop sign, which is a violation, and so he was pulled over by the police officer.  This is what is known as a chicken poop stop, the purpose of which is ONLY to allow an officer to gain information about the driver of the car and if possible, conduct a search of the drivers person and/or possessions.

But it gets better.  Eventually the officer admits that the ONLY reason he began following Felton is because Felton made direct eye-contact with the officer.  That’s it.  That is all it took for a citizen, on his way to visit his mother, to be stopped and harassed by an officer of the law.

Sometime ago, I had a L.A. county deputy sheriff tell me that it was impossible to drive three blocks without violating some traffic law, which would enable him to pull me over.  Think about that for a moment.  There are so many rules and regulations covering our use of the roads that it is IMPOSSIBLE to drive three blocks without violating one or more of those rules.  If you love liberty, that should make you frightened as hell!

Enjoy this video. This is where we are headed as a nation.
