Meyer Lemon & Fresh Strawberry Lemonade
16 oz. Water
8 oz. Sugar
2 cups fresh squeezed Meyer Lemon Juice
1 pint fresh Strawberries (washed/hulled/halved)
4 oz. Sugar
4 oz. Water
24 to 32 oz. Cold Water (depending on desired sweetness)
In medium saucepan, bring 4 oz. Water & 4 oz. Sugar to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat…Add Lemon Juice.
Let cool completely.
In medium saucepan, on low heat, gently warm the pint of Strawberries with 4 oz. Sugar, and 4 oz. Water until a syrup forms
Strain pulp (discard)
Add remaining Strawberry syrup to pitcher of Lemon Juice.
Stir well to blend, and refrigerate until chilled…About 1 hour
Add remaining cold Water 8 ounces at a time, until desired sweetness is achieved
Serve over Ice
Garnish glasses with Mint Sprig or a small, fresh Strawberry (Optional)
